Pipeline reconstruction - Aveling Rotterdam

The Aveling crossing, located between the Petroleumweg and the Vondelingenweg in Rotterdam, is one of the most complex infrastructure junctions in the Netherlands. Railways, motorways and transport pipelines for oil, gas and chemicals all converge here.

Commissioned by the Project-organisation Betuweroute, the junction has been completely reconstructed to enable the realisation of the Havenspoor rail project. Lievense Consulting Engineers has been involved in the reconstruction of 20 transport pipelines, for 10 different owners.
