Waterways

The improvement of waterways at home and abroad is an important field of activity for Lievense. Our knowledge and advice include analysing the navigability, supported if necessary by model simulations and designing river engineering measures. We also advise about traffic guidance systems so that the right positioning of traffic signs and cameras result in safer waterways. In 2005 Lievense took over Port Management Consultants, a company specialized in this.









Besides aspects of waterways Lievense supplies studies and designs of “sluizen, etc”. Lievense also has a broad expertise in the field of dredging when waterways at home and abroad need to be improved.
